4000 M - manual
- The M versions are fitted with a manually controlled vice.
- Fixed support table (only for model 4000).

4000 S - semiautomatic
- The lowering of the head is manual, whereas the 2 horizontal vices closing and the blade lubrication/cooling are pneumatic, automatically controlled by the beginning of the lowering movement of the blade.
- Fixed support table
- Blade lubrication/cooling with flux regulator, with the possibility of closing it.

4000 P - pneumatic
- Pressing two buttons with bimanual command, the airhydraulic cutting unit is automatically and gradually lowered; at the same time, the 2 vice closing and the pneumatic lubrication/cooling are activated.
- The double descent speed (the fast approach and the slow cutting) and the speed of the return to the resting position of the cutting unit are adjustable.
